Why Aren’t You Cultivating Immortality? (GL) Chapter 71

Chapter 71

A faint rose scent drifted from the ends of Feiyue’s hair.
Yun Su gazed at her with focus. Demons were born with bright, tempting beauty. One glance, one raised brow, every movement carried a soft pull.
The mood turned deeply intimate. Feiyue’s heart beat so hard it almost stopped. She lifted her chin slightly, ready to receive Yun Su’s kiss.
Yun Su’s gaze slid from Feiyue’s brows to the bridge of her nose, then finally fell on her lips. Those red lips parted slightly, opening a narrow gap. Yun Su moved the hand resting on the back of the sofa down to support Feiyue’s back. Then she closed her eyes, tilted her head, and leaned closer.
When their soft lips touched, a tingling feeling burst in Yun Su’s chest. Following instinct, Yun Su gently held Feiyue’s lips in a kiss.
Feiyue’s lips grew fuller and wetter. Yun Su tested forward, and Feiyue offered no resistance. Instead, she answered with warm eagerness.
Desire tore through reason in an instant. A voice in Yun Su’s heart tempted her to pull Feiyue down onto the sofa and do many more happy things.
Her body moved before her mind did. Yun Su raised a hand and pressed it to Feiyue’s soft chest. She had only kneaded once when Feiyue shivered and let out a small sound.
What a sensitive little cat demon.
Yun Su slowly leaned forward and pressed Feiyue onto the sofa. When their bodies overlapped, Yun Su released Feiyue’s lips. Her eyes did not hide her desire as she looked at Feiyue.
“Yue’er, may I?”
Her hand still did not stop moving.
“You… cannot.”
Feiyue bit her lip and refused Yun Su at the final moment. To stop Yun Su from continuing, she changed back into the little orange cat with a whoosh, jumped off the sofa, and fled into the bedroom.
Looking at the suddenly empty space beneath her, then turning to see the cat shadow slip into the bedroom, Yun Su sighed in regret.
She should not have asked just now.
She should have eaten her clean first.
Once Feiyue entered the bedroom, she changed back into human form. After closing and locking the door, her legs went so weak that she slid against the door panel.
In the quiet room, her heartbeat thudded clearly like a drum.
Feiyue lifted a hand and touched her lips. The strange warmth and soft feeling would not fade.
Yunyun kissed her? It felt so unreal.
Thinking back to everything that had happened on the sofa, Feiyue spread her arms and flopped onto the bed. Yun Su’s gentle look had truly made her heart move. If Yun Su had not stopped and asked for her consent, how far would they have gone by now?
They probably would have already been honest with each other.
Feiyue covered her face. A girl should be a little reserved. She absolutely could not hand over her body casually.
Feiyue had forgotten that even if she locked the door, Yun Su could still come in.
Just as she pressed her chest and tried to make her heart slow down, the bed suddenly sank a few centimeters. She turned her head. Yun Su’s heroic face appeared in front of her again. Her eyes curved like crescent moons, and her gaze was so gentle it made Feiyue feel safe.
After Feiyue turned into the little orange cat and ran away, Yun Su had thought about many things. Kissing Feiyue so suddenly had been too abrupt. Right now, they were only friends. At most, they were a little closer than that, bedmates who slept in the same bedroom.
A confession had to be made. Judging by the current situation, it was urgent.
Yun Su closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Then she looked at Feiyue seriously and told her, “Yue’er, I like you.”
She placed a hand on Feiyue’s shoulder and pulled her into her arms. “The first time we met, you moved my heart. I followed you all the way from the Qiongcang Secret Realm to this place and stayed here all for you.”
Feiyue buried her head in the quilt, her face as red as a tomato. In Yun Su’s eyes, her reaction was simply too cute. Yun Su could not help kissing Feiyue’s ear.
“The path of cultivation is very long. Are you willing to let me accompany you as we cultivate together?”
Cultivate together.
Feiyue secretly thought over those words. She lifted her head and looked at Yun Su. “Do you mean dual cultivation?”
Yun Su swore that when she said that, she had only meant she wanted them to be together. She had not meant dual cultivation.
She was just about to deny it when Feiyue nodded shyly. “Okay.”
She agreed!
The surprise came so suddenly that Yun Su’s mind went blank. She froze for quite a while before reacting. Then, so happy she could not help it, she hugged Feiyue and buried her face in Feiyue’s neck, laughing.
Feiyue turned to face Yun Su and held her in her arms. Blushing, she asked, “Yunyun, when do we start dual cultivation? Should we continue what we did not finish on the sofa?”
The answer was naturally yes.
Sadly, Bai Moqing and Xiao Xing came home.
As soon as Bai Moqing opened the door, she heard the television in the living room. In the past, the little orange cat would run over with a trembling baby voice, meowing to welcome her home. Ever since Yun Su and Xiao Xing had been added to the household, the little orange cat no longer greeted her so warmly.
Still, whenever Bai Moqing came home, Feiyue would poke her head out and look toward the entryway, welcoming her back with her eyes.
Today, however, the television was on, but Feiyue was nowhere to be seen. That was very strange.
Bai Moqing changed into slippers and walked to the living room. Feiyue was not on the sofa. She glanced toward their bedroom. The bedroom door was closed.
“What is that expression?” Xiao Xing, who had finished changing shoes, walked to Bai Moqing’s side and followed her gaze toward Feiyue’s bedroom.
Seeing Feiyue and Yun Su holding each other, Xiao Xing smiled faintly. “When the sky wants to rain and a mother wants to remarry, some things cannot be stopped. Is it not good that they are together?”
From now on, the little cat demon would no longer cling to her Xiao Mo.
Bai Moqing withdrew her divine sense. “When they do those things, do you think they use human form or original form?”
That question…
Xiao Xing was just about to answer when the bedroom door suddenly creaked open. Feiyue walked out with a red face. She had heard everything Bai Moqing just said.
She had not expected Qingqing to be this kind of person.
Xiao Xing glanced at Feiyue. “Why not ask her yourself?”
Then she walked to the dining table, poured a glass of water, and watched Feiyue and Bai Moqing with interest while drinking.
Feiyue lowered her eyes shyly and stood in front of Bai Moqing, tugging at the corner of her clothes. In a small voice, she called, “Qingqing.”
Although Bai Moqing had seen her and Yun Su lying on the bed together, Feiyue still wanted to tell Bai Moqing with her own mouth that she and Yun Su were together. But when the words reached her lips, she felt too embarrassed.
It was hard to say.
Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at Xiao Xing. Xiao Xing was holding a glass of water and smiling in a meaningful way. Who knew what she was smiling about?
It was definitely nothing good.
Bai Moqing knew what Feiyue wanted to say. Seeing her hesitate, Bai Moqing rubbed her head. “You do not need to tell me everything.”
Hearing that gave Feiyue courage instead. She grabbed Bai Moqing’s hand, lifted her head, and looked at her.
“Qingqing, Yunyun and I are together now.”
Her ears trembled, and the redness spread from the tips of her ears all the way down her neck.
Yun Su, who had been ordered not to leave the bedroom, heard Feiyue’s words and smiled so hard she hugged the quilt and rolled around once. She wanted to turn into a dragon and fly two circles in the sky.
The joy of being in love could no longer be held down.
“Be together properly. The road ahead is long.” Bai Moqing turned to look at Xiao Xing. Xiao Xing smiled at her, set down the glass, and went into the bedroom.
Her look was easy to understand.
I will wait for you in the bedroom.
“But…” Feiyue stood on tiptoe and whispered into Bai Moqing’s ear, “It feels so strange.”
Yun Su used to be a flood dragon and could be called a demon. Now she was a dragon, belonging to the gods, while Feiyue was still a demon.
A god and a demon. A dragon and a cat. No matter how she looked at it, it felt strange.
Feiyue’s words reminded Bai Moqing of something. Since Yun Su had woken up, Bai Moqing had not asked whether she could go to the Eleventh Heaven.
But now was clearly not the time to ask Yun Su that question.
Bai Moqing pulled Feiyue to sit on the sofa. She set that question aside for now and first had a proper talk with Feiyue about a dragon and a cat being together.
