Footsteps sounded behind her. Feiyue turned and saw Bai Moqing. Guiltily, she stood up. “Qingqing, you’re back.”
Bai Moqing glanced out the window and said seriously, “It is seven-thirty. I haven’t gone to the company yet.”
Feiyue’s cheeks instantly burned. Her hands, hanging by her sides, tugged at the corner of her clothes. Bai Moqing saw her embarrassment. Her gaze drifted over Yun Su. Without guessing, she knew Feiyue must have done something to Yun Su to be this nervous.
“You…” Before Bai Moqing could ask, Feiyue hurried to confess. “I only kissed her once. I didn’t do anything else!”
Bai Moqing was speechless.
Too embarrassed to say anything more, Bai Moqing patted Feiyue’s shoulder and walked to the bed to sit down.
Yun Su’s aura had not changed. It remained faint. But the golden light inside her Divine Terrace was like the rising sun, growing bright and dazzling.
Seeing the gap in their cultivation grow wider and wider, Bai Moqing thought of herself and Xiao Xing. She turned and asked, “Feiyue, do you like Yun Su?”
Yun Su had told her that the first time she met Feiyue in the Qiongcang Secret Realm, she had fallen for Feiyue. “Then you can be with a human?” Thinking of how Feiyue had once pestered her to dual cultivate, Bai Moqing could not help laughing.
Feiyue grew shy. She turned and sat beside Bai Moqing, hugging Bai Moqing’s arm. “Qingqing, Yun Yun knows I like you.” She tilted her head and leaned on Bai Moqing’s shoulder. “We demons love one person from beginning to end. Whoever we say we like is the one we like. I only like you.”
Xiao Xing stood at the doorway with a half-smile. “Should I grant your wish, then?”
That cool voice scared Feiyue so badly she immediately released her paws. Bai Moqing smiled and rubbed Feiyue’s little head. “Stop using me as an excuse. If you didn’t like Yun Su, you wouldn’t sleep on the bay window every night, staring outside and hoping she would come back. And after she returned, you wouldn’t stay by her side twenty-four hours a day waiting for her to wake.”
Xiao Xing walked into the room and, as usual, checked Yun Su’s condition. Heaven-shaking changes were taking place inside Yun Su’s body. Her meridians were changing paths, her Divine Terrace was being rebuilt, and her dragon soul was gathering dragon breath. She was only waiting for the hour to arrive before soaring into the sky as a dragon.
Feiyue denied it. “No I don’t!”
Everything was fine with Yun Su. Xiao Xing withdrew her divine sense and smiled at Bai Moqing. “Let’s go, Xiao Mo. It’s time to go to the company.” She glanced at Feiyue. Even Feiyue’s ears were red.
Xiao Group’s headquarters were located in H City’s southern district. Its business involved real estate, electronics, textiles, chemicals, finance, investment, tourism, hotels, entertainment, film, and many other fields.
Before the car even reached the company, Bai Moqing saw from afar that a dark crowd was blocking the entrance. Looking over, she saw cameras in their arms and video cameras on their shoulders. They were not holding any banners.

Bai Moqing pulled her hand back and turned to look ahead. Out of the corner of her eye, she glanced at Xiao Xing. Just wait. Sooner or later, she would press Xiao Xing underneath!
The company had three gates. The main north gate was blocked and could not be entered. Xiao Xing took the side road around to the east gate. The east gate was also blocked. After circling once, all three gates were blocked. Xiao Xing drove the car back to the main gate and called the head of security.
The security manager was worrying over the people at the entrance. When his phone rang and he saw the words President Xiao, cold sweat streamed down his back. Trembling, he answered the call.
Across the street from the main gate was a row of shops. Directly opposite Xiao Group was a cafe. At a window booth sat one person, wearing a black padded down jacket and a khaki scarf.
Bai Moqing saw her. She unfastened her seat belt and got out. In the blink of an eye, she was outside the cafe.
Xiao Xing was still on the phone. Seeing Bai Moqing enter the cafe, she froze for a moment. On the other end, the security manager wiped sweat as he asked what Xiao Xing wanted. “President Xiao, those media reporters can’t be offended too easily. Should we wait for them to leave on their own, or call the police?”
Xiao Xing came back to herself and said, “You have ten minutes to handle it.” Her calm tone carried the presence of a ruler looking down on the world. The security manager stared at the disconnected call, gritted his teeth, gathered every security guard in the company, split them into three groups, and marched boldly toward the company gates.
If he did not deal with the people at the gates, he might have to hand over his security manager position with a yearly salary of four hundred thousand.

Bai Moqing entered the cafe, and a server immediately came up to welcome her. Bai Moqing raised a hand to show she did not need anything and walked straight toward Ye Gelan.

After a little hesitation, Ye Gelan nodded. She took a sip of coffee. “I’ve been hesitating these past few days over whether to come find you.”
Bai Moqing could guess a little of Ye Gelan’s reason for looking for her. It had to do with the night Sikou Yan came to find her. Still, she had to pretend she knew nothing. “Did you need something from me?”
“That night, I saw you by the lake…” Her fingers tightened nervously around the coffee cup. Ye Gelan set the cup on its saucer and raised her eyes to meet Bai Moqing’s. “If you have run into some difficulty, or some difficult person, I can help you.”
Her tone was sincere and earnest. Facing a face identical to Su Xiao’s, Bai Moqing could not help remembering the past again.
The world was a circle. After twists and turns, those who had left would return to one’s side. Putting away her memories, Bai Moqing curved her lips in a faint smile. “I have indeed run into a little difficulty. But matters of the heart can only be solved by me.”
