In the bar, the dim, unclear lights cast a layer of shadow over everyone. No one could see anyone else’s expression clearly.
The noise, laughter, and teasing around them had not stopped since Bai Moqing entered. Xue Shichu held a six-sided glass and slowly drank, her smiling gaze resting on Bai Moqing.

Xiao Xing fell silent.
Xue Shichu came over after paying the bill. “Are we leaving?”
“You go first. Be careful on the way.”
“Mm, okay. I’ll call you when I get home.” Xue Shichu glanced at Tang Yue and left the bar. When she reached the door, she suddenly remembered that the woman from before looked familiar.

The elevator was crowded. An Huaigu and Tang Yue were separated to opposite sides by the crowd. The elevator rose. At every floor, people got out. By the time it reached the top floor, only Tang Yue and An Huaigu were left.
“An Huaigu…” Tang Yue wanted to explain.
But An Huaigu showed no intention of listening at all. Her face was cold. As soon as the elevator doors opened, she quickly walked out.
