Running Off With The Sect Senior Sister Chapter 75

Find Her

“Senior Sister,” Yun Shayi suddenly called out in a muffled voice.
“What’s wrong?” Luo Yi looked at Yun Shayi, who had buried her face in Luo Yi’s neck and gone silent after calling out to her.
Yun Shayi didn’t speak, just continued to nuzzle against her. Her lips parted and closed, those perfectly exquisite lips right at Luo Yi’s neck, bringing a slight tingling sensation.
The tips of Luo Yi’s ears suddenly turned red.
Yun Shayi whispered behind her, “That time you kissed me, were you already planning something improper?”
After saying that, she paused. Warm, moist kisses slowly fell, trailing over pale skin as she said, somewhat petulantly, “Anyway, I’ve had those kinds of feelings for Senior Sister for a long time.”
Luo Yi turned her face away, expressionless, merely holding her breath. Her eyes flickered, and she unintentionally glimpsed Yun Shayi’s eyes, bright as a multitude of stars. She felt her breathing become somewhat difficult.
Her voice held a barely perceptible tremble. “What kinds of feelings?”
Yun Shayi’s eyes grew brighter. “You know what kinds of feelings.”
“I don’t know.” Luo Yi felt this wouldn’t do and wanted to push Yun Shayi away, but the other girl seemed stuck to her, arms wrapped tightly around her waist, impossible to pull off.
Luo Yi gave up struggling and let Yun Shayi have her way, just slowly regulating her breathing so she wouldn’t pant so heavily.
Luo Tangtang calmly stood to the side watching, her expression looking very composed, though the corners of her mouth twitched slightly. She rather felt that her and Yun Shayi’s personalities had completely reversed later on.
“Let go, you’re pressing so hard I can’t breathe.” Luo Yi reached up, intending to rub the space between her eyebrows, but as soon as her hand neared, Yun Shayi pulled it down, forcibly intertwining their fingers.
Luo Yi instantly felt a bit embarrassed and annoyed, her gaze sweeping over Yun Shayi. Yun Shayi was very calm, even reaching out to tuck away the stray hairs scattered by Luo Yi’s face.
Warm breath fanned over her. Luo Yi’s body stiffened, taut and straight, like a fully drawn bowstring.
“Relax a bit.” Yun Shayi’s voice was also a bit hoarse.
Luo Yi struggled slightly, but her hand was grabbed and pressed somewhere. Luo Yi instantly froze.
“You—!” Luo Yi’s eyelashes trembled violently, a blush spreading across her face. After a long moment, she lowered her eyes, acquiescing.
Yun Shayi laughed softly and continued to bury her face in Luo Yi’s neck. She chose a spot, took it into her mouth, teasing and nipping with her teeth. The woman beneath her grew warmer, her skin smooth and lustrous like a piece of warm jade. Yun Shayi secretly concealed the dark glint in her eyes and bit down fiercely. Noticing the slight taste of blood, she then carefully licked the spot until the wound no longer bled and was only slightly red and swollen. Only then did she narrow her eyes with satisfaction.
The early morning was a bit cool.
Luo Yi opened her eyes. The person beside her was long gone. She frowned slightly, suppressed the unease in her heart, and slowly got up. The silk quilt slipped off with her movement. Looking at the marks on her body, she clutched her somewhat dizzy head.
Yun Shayi had many quirks, especially liking to pull her onto the bed to tumble around… pinning her down.
Feeling sore all over, Luo Yi tried to get up, but halfway there, her body froze. After a moment of thought, she silently sat back down.
Luo Tangtang’s expression was complicated. Indeed, watching myself and, well, Yun Shayi… cough cough, it wasn’t a very good experience.
“Senior Sister.” Yun Shayi walked in from outside. Seeing Luo Yi sitting motionless on the bed, a trace of panic flashed in her eyes. When Luo Yi glanced at her, she immediately lowered her head.
“Where did you go?” Luo Yi’s expression was unreadable. She slightly shifted her legs, pulling the quilt tighter around herself, and asked in a hoarse voice.
Only then did Yun Shayi step inside. “Nothing much. I prepared some things.”
What?
Yun Shayi lowered her head and kissed her forehead, then bent down, gently pulled her out from the covers, and picked her up. Looking at Luo Yi’s somewhat dazed eyes, she said softly, “Time for a bath.”
Luo Tangtang never knew Yun Shayi was such a hedonist. Whether as the initially aloof and high-ranking Sect Senior Sister, or that pitiful little thing from before, her life was always very simple. You could say it was just a step away from being impoverished.
But now, this was a bit too extravagant.
Steam swirled above a hot spring pool made of white jade. The floor was covered with a soft red carpet, and the cool, refreshing scent of sandalwood smoke curled upwards. Luo Yi could feel that the spiritual energy contained in the hot spring was so abundant it seemed about to surge to the heavens. It was probably related to the miscellaneous herbs and flower petals floating on the water.
“Hiss—!” Luo Yi frowned. Steam was clearly rising from the water’s surface, yet it was cold. The moment she entered the pool, a wave of coldness swept over her entire body, making her shiver involuntarily.
She turned her head to look at Yun Shayi.
Yun Shayi looked completely unconcerned. She suddenly pulled Luo Yi, taking her by surprise, into her embrace. Luo Yi was only wearing a light gauze undergarment, which became almost transparent when soaked by the spring water. A warmth spread where their skin touched.
‘Should we keep watching?’
The system asked Luo Tangtang, who was standing to the side with a subtly darkening expression.
However, the next second, its “eyes” were covered.
Luo Yi was half-kneeling, half-sitting on Yun Shayi’s lap. She frowned lightly and quietly shifted, wanting to create some distance. After all, Yun Shayi’s gaze was indeed rather… suggestive.
Yun Shayi also noticed her movement but didn’t say anything, just naturally let go.
Luo Yi silently moved to the side. But after a short while, her previously smooth brow furrowed slightly. The temperature in the hot spring was dropping.
She seemed to realize something, her gaze towards Yun Shayi searching. Yun Shayi nodded slightly. “An ingredient was added to the water. The longer it’s in, the stronger the cold energy becomes.”
Seeing Luo Yi’s doubtful and somewhat uncertain expression, Yun Shayi added, “My constitution is special, Senior Sister, you know that.”
Hearing this, the suspicion in Luo Yi’s eyes lessened somewhat.
“No need.”
A dark glint flashed in Yun Shayi’s eyes. She ignored Luo Yi’s refusal and took a few steps forward. “Senior Sister’s cultivation is profound, so naturally you don’t need it. But please, take pity on your Junior Sister. I’m cold.”
Suddenly pulled into an embrace, Luo Yi instinctively wanted to break free. But hearing Yun Shayi’s words, the slight resistance she initially felt vanished without a trace.
Luo Yi lowered her eyes and, quite proactively, hugged Yun Shayi, leaning into her embrace.
‘Playing pitiful,’ Luo Tangtang thought. Perhaps because she knew her identity now, Luo Tangtang simply stopped hiding her true feelings, cursing indignantly.
Just because Luo Yi didn’t know, didn’t mean she didn’t. Even if these things were extremely rare, after experiencing thousands of worlds, she could easily identify what that stuff floating on the water was. What damn herbs? Those were clearly those filthy things!
“What exactly are these herbs?” After soaking for a while, Luo Yi sensed something was wrong. Following the initial chill, she suddenly felt a restless heat.
Yun Shayi toyed with a strand of Luo Yi’s black hair and said casually, “They replenish vital energy, act as an aphrodisiac, and invigorate blood circulation.”
Luo Yi instantly looked up. “What?”
Luo Yi sat by the window. Her expression, though calm, could even be described as frosty. She wore a soft robe embroidered with intricate patterns, looking exceptionally lofty and unapproachable.
However, her flushed cheeks and her swollen red lips, marked with tiny cuts, gave her an unintentional allure and a shy charm.
But the enchantment didn’t last long before turning into embarrassed annoyance. She glanced at Yun Shayi standing before her and frowned fiercely, as if wanting to say something. But when she met Yun Shayi’s expressionless face, she abruptly turned away again. After a long while, she powerlessly lowered her head, her long fingers continuously rubbing the space between her eyebrows.
Luo Yi didn’t speak, and Yun Shayi continued to stand there until the sun set behind the mountains, its diffused light filtering through the gauze window onto them both. Yun Shayi remained expressionless, but the atmosphere around her inexplicably evoked a sense of desolation.
Luo Yi’s heart suddenly twinged.
Just as she was about to tell Yun Shayi to sit down, Yun Shayi suddenly spoke, “Senior Sister, if you feel wronged, I can disappear for a while.”
What? Luo Yi’s pupils flickered.
“What are you saying?” Luo Yi’s voice suddenly trembled a little.
But Yun Shayi didn’t answer, only gave her a deep look before vanishing in an instant. Luo Yi abruptly stood up; the movement was so sudden that her figure swayed a few times.
“Gone?” Luo Yi’s eyes seemed filled with confusion and bewilderment. She stood where Yun Shayi had been until the sky completely darkened. Only then did the confusion fade, replaced by a feeling as if her heart was bleeding.
Luo Yi somewhat dazedly clutched her chest.
What’s happening? Luo Tangtang also frowned.
She couldn’t leave Luo Yi, so she could only stand there with her.
The valley felt exceptionally cold. Luo Yi’s hand, which had been tightly gripping her lapel, gradually loosened. She had never known cold could be so unbearable. When a chill wind blew, her body shivered instinctively, yet she was unwilling to move even half a step.
Days passed, suns setting one after another. Luo Yi just stood there, motionless.
Gradually, everything before her eyes turned dim.
“Creak.” The door was pushed open. Luo Yi’s eyes moved. Her throat felt as if it had been scraped by a knife, her voice hoarse and rough. “You’re back.”
After speaking, she frowned tightly.
It sounds awful. Why has my voice become so awful?
Yun Shayi stood at the doorway, looking at Luo Yi standing there. Luo Yi’s hair was disheveled, and she still wore the soft robe from the day Yun Shayi had left. The usually soft material was now stiff and rumpled. Yun Shayi’s gaze moved down, falling on Luo Yi’s bare, jade-like feet. She wasn’t even wearing shoes.
Luo Yi continued to stare straight at Yun Shayi, unblinking. Yun Shayi’s eyes suddenly darkened. She quickly walked over to Luo Yi and grasped her hand.
Luo Yi didn’t struggle, allowing Yun Shayi to pull her into the inner room. Seeing the room covered in a layer of dust, Yun Shayi’s frown deepened. She turned back to look at Luo Yi, but Luo Yi just lowered her head and said nothing, much like their strained silence from before.
Yun Shayi seemed to sigh. Her tone was no longer flat but had some inflection as she said gently, “Go wash up first?”
“Mm.” Luo Yi nodded, clutching Yun Shayi’s hand tightly, but she didn’t look up at her.
Yun Shayi didn’t speak. She led Luo Yi to the hot spring and was about to leave when the corner of her robe was tugged.
“What’s wrong?” Yun Shayi turned back to look at the silent Luo Yi.
“I’ll go clean the room.”
Luo Yi still didn’t let go.
Yun Shayi paused, her voice softening. “Senior Sister, be good. Bathe first, okay?”
Luo Yi’s fingers trembled. She wanted to let go, but was suddenly pulled into an embrace. A somewhat deep sigh sounded by her ear. “Forget it,” Yun Shayi said.
Forget it? Forget what? Luo Yi felt her mind working more and more slowly. She raised her face, wanting to ask Yun Shayi, but Yun Shayi picked her up and placed her in the water.
“Bathe first. I’ll take you to see something right after,” Yun Shayi said.
Luo Yi seemed very tired. She lay in Yun Shayi’s arms, her expression tinged with attachment. Yun Shayi helped her wash. Looking at Luo Yi, who seemed on the verge of collapsing, the hand Yun Shayi had on her waist slowly tightened.
Day broke, and sunlight shone on Luo Yi’s face. It vanished an instant later as Yun Shayi closed the curtains, making the room dim. Watching Luo Yi breathing evenly on the bed, Yun Shayi slowly let out a breath of relief.
Luo Yi woke with a start and instantly sat up. In a moment, the confusion and drowsiness faded. She hurriedly scrambled out of bed and, hearing a sound from outside the door, ran in that direction.
What met her eyes was dazzling sunlight. Luo Yi squinted slightly and saw Yun Shayi standing in the sunlight, fiddling with something.
A flower shed!
Luo Yi was stunned. It was the flower shed Yun Shayi had built at Wuyang Mountain, the one from when Luo Yi had left that place.
Yun Shayi sensed movement behind her, turned, and saw Luo Yi standing motionless to the side.
She waved at Luo Yi. “Come here.”
Only then did Luo Yi walk over, as if startled from a daze.
“You’ve been working on this these past few days?”
Yun Shayi nodded. “Senior Sister used to like these things the most. You saw it too, after I first set it up.”
Luo Yi’s expression flickered, her gaze shifting uncomfortably to a certain spot.
“The Fluffy Silk Plate Flower!”
“I planted it for you,” Yun Shayi said. “Back then, after Luo Yi got the flower seed, I took it. Even when it was raised on Wuyang Mountain, I didn’t neglect it, even occasionally watering it with my own blood.”
The flower was still small but already had its basic form, with a small, disc-like head sprouting. Luo Yi’s heart ached slightly, but the only words she managed to squeeze out were, “Thank you.”
Yun Shayi lowered her head slightly and said softly, “I just didn’t want to make things difficult for you.”
The mask Yun Shayi had worn these past few days seemed to fall away in an instant. A bitter smile touched her lips, and her eyes were entirely dim, without a trace of light.
Luo Yi dazedly touched the tears streaming down her face, her eyes reddening. “You didn’t make things difficult.”
The fingertips Yun Shayi had clenched in her palm suddenly loosened. She looked up as if in disbelief. Luo Yi bit her lip and repeated it.
Only then did Yun Shayi nod dazedly, her own eyes also red. “I thought you… weren’t willing.”
“I wasn’t. I just… wasn’t used to it yet.” Luo Yi shook her head. She hadn’t realized her actions would cause Yun Shayi such a huge misunderstanding. Immediately, alongside regret, she felt a deep heartache and helplessness.
She truly didn’t know how to act towards Yun Shayi.
She paused for a moment, then said firmly, “Really.”
But Yun Shayi gave a bitter laugh. “Then… are you truly with me?”
“Like that… so-called love between a man and a woman? That kind of feeling?”
This time, Luo Yi hesitated. She didn’t know how to begin, or what to say. She was created for Yun Shayi. In the beginning, before her memories were erased, Yun Shayi was her everything. But now? They had done the most intimate things, and she wasn’t averse to it; she even found herself immersed in it.
Seeing Luo Yi remain silent for a long time, Yun Shayi seemed to take it as a tacit confirmation of her fears, a stiff, pained smile touching her lips.
Luo Yi panicked slightly and grabbed Yun Shayi’s sleeve. Her thoughts were a mess, but she knew one thing: she couldn’t let Yun Shayi leave.
But Yun Shayi, in turn, pulled her tightly into her embrace, pressing Luo Yi’s head against herself. Luo Yi’s erratically beating heart, enveloped by Yun Shayi’s cool, clean scent, strangely calmed down.
“Don’t worry,” Yun Shayi murmured. “I won’t leave this time. I won’t ever leave again.”
Outwardly, nothing seemed amiss. Yun Shayi once again became that endearing, slightly spoiled Junior Sister who clung to Luo Yi all day. Only, occasionally, a deep, unfathomable light would flash in her eyes.
After some time had passed like this, Yun Shayi hesitantly approached Luo Yi.
“What’s wrong?” Luo Yi asked, slightly puzzled. Yun Shayi’s expression was a bit heavy.
“Something has come up outside,” Yun Shayi said. “I might need to go deal with it.”
Luo Yi’s hand, which was tending to the flowers, paused. “Okay,” she said, feigning nonchalance. “How long will it take?”
“I don’t know.”
Luo Yi’s movements stopped completely. “Okay. I’ll wait for you to come back.”
After that, Yun Shayi frequently left the valley, often returning with injuries of varying severity.
“What exactly is happening outside?” Luo Yi finally couldn’t hold back any longer and asked.
Yun Shayi didn’t answer, only saying softly, “Senior Sister, let’s move somewhere else!”
Luo Yi frowned. After a long moment, she nodded.
The new place was within a mountain range near the Far North. There was a small town there, and they settled down. Little Silk Flower followed them; she was very fond of Luo Yi.
Luo Tangtang just kept watching like this.
‘What happened later?’ she couldn’t help but ask.
A flash of light and shadow, and Luo Er’s faint form appeared before Luo Tangtang.
‘Be patient.’
Immediately after, the scene changed.
It was a sacrificial altar, upon which a large cauldron seethed with raging flames. Demonic cultivators were herding groups of people, throwing them into the cauldron one after another. Miserable screams echoed endlessly.
“What is this?” A trace of horror flashed in Luo Tangtang’s eyes. The scene was too gruesome.
The scene changed again. Yun Shayi, her face wooden, moved with deadly efficiency. With every flash of her blade, a demonic cultivator was beheaded. Her expression showed no ripple of emotion, as if she were a machine.
Suddenly, a guess formed in Luo Tangtang’s mind. Her tone was disbelieving, “This is… what was happening outside?”
“Mm-hm.” Luo Er nodded.
“Why is it like this?”
“Because… the Main God found out. So the world fell into chaos.” A slow, enigmatic smile spread across Luo Er’s lips. Her eyes seemed to hold a mix of amusement, grief, and indignation, but in the end, all these emotions dissolved like an ethereal wisp of smoke, dispersing with a gust of wind, leaving nothing behind.
A mournful cry seemed to echo, then transformed into a monstrous, sky-reaching wave. Everything changed; the calm surface of the lake was finally shattered.
The Main God remained high and lofty, not a trace of emotion in its eyes.
Luo Yi knelt below.
“Do you have anything to say?” the Main God asked.
Luo Yi looked into the distance, her gaze seemingly penetrating the layers of mountains, as if looking at someone far away.
“It is my fault. I am willing to accept any punishment.”
The Main God seemed to frown.
“But Your Excellency should not have deliberately sent me away and had Luo Si impersonate me to do those things.”
The one in the high seat showed no expression. “You are systems. What pretense is there to speak of?”
Luo Yi’s body stiffened, her smooth fingernails digging into her palms until they drew blood.
“The new world I’ve created is unstable. You will go there. And you are not to see her again.”
Luo Yi sharply raised her head, her face deathly pale. “I promised her I wouldn’t abandon her!”
The Main God seemed to laugh. “Originally, her life was meant to be one of boundless glory; she was to become the sole god of this world. But after you arrived, what did she gain?”
“This world may have stabilized, but people’s hearts are now in chaos!”
“Yun Shayi has nothing but your so-called ‘affection’.”
“Everything she is suffering now is also your doing. This world… if it is not under my control, Yun Shayi will only live an even more miserable life. However much the Great Dao favored her in the beginning, that is how much she will be forsaken now.”
The Main God’s words were like sharp blades, each one piercing to the bone, leaving bloody, excruciatingly painful wounds.
“You two should have no further involvement.”
The cold words rang out. Luo Yi abruptly came to her senses, her figure stumbling backward. “I have to find her.”
