Since Divine Demoness A’Ling arrived in the Demon Realm, for the past thirty years, the Demon Realm had grown accustomed to hearing daily curses against the Venerable Beiming emanating from the Divine Demoness A’Ling’s residence.
Today, however, was strange. On the Divine Demoness A’Ling’s residence, which resembled an iron tower, sound-eating birds were placed on all four flying eaves.
As the name implied, sound-eating birds could swallow sounds within a marked area, preventing outsiders from hearing.
The demon cultivators passing by speculated how terribly the Divine Demoness A’Ling must be cursing today to require such silencing. They wondered how Venerable Beiming, Shi Qingqian, had offended the Divine Demoness A’Ling, for someone who usually preferred action over words to curse for thirty years.
Curious demon cultivators summoned their magic artifacts, hoping to hear, but the sound-eating birds released by the Divine Demoness A’Ling were too high-level. Not a single sound could be heard from within, making the residence appear utterly peaceful.
Inside the Divine Demoness A’Ling’s residence, a sharp rebuke echoed throughout the spacious mansion, creating continuous, lingering reverberations.
“Shi Qingqian, dare to lick me again, and I’ll cut out your tongue!”
A’Ling slapped away the head pressing into the hollow of her neck. However, the other party’s cultivation was higher than hers. Instead of pushing their head away, the slap seemed to make them even more excited.
And that wretched dog kept rubbing into her neck hollow, disheveling her newly tidied clothes and revealing a section of her slender, fair neck.
Shi Qingqian’s eyes, having lost their clarity, became even redder. The bewitching corners of her eyes seemed to sprout crimson threads, passing through a small red mole and spreading from the corner of her eye all the way to her temples.
A’Ling’s heart skipped a beat. This medicine couldn’t possibly have any side effects, could it?
With one hand, she protected her clothes that were about to be rubbed open, while the other pressed onto the neck pulse of the person beside her, channeling her spiritual energy to probe their body.
After a good while, she furiously changed from probing to pinching, grabbing their neck and pulling their head a short distance away.
“The world should truly see this! What Venerable Beiming? What Immortal Shi Qingqian? In such an aroused state, this is how you look.”
“Dare to rub wantonly again, and I’ll twist your head off!”
“Damn the fox race! I shouldn’t have traded my Pangu Hammer for their secret fox treasure. This aphrodisiac pill is far too potent.”
A’Ling thought, she only wanted to take advantage of Shi Qingqian being aroused and losing her senses to engage in spiritual intercourse and absorb her cultivation. She didn’t actually want to dual cultivate with her.
Pah! The mere thought of it disgusted her.
“Get off! Where are your hands going?” A’Ling’s face turned crimson. She looked down to see that, at some point, her outer robe had been completely torn open.
Shi Qingqian’s hands, usually used for wielding a sword, were now covering A’Ling’s undergarment, perfectly placed on the peak of her curves.
“Shi Qingqian, I’ll fight you to the death!”
A’Ling roared, extending her hand to summon her magic artifact, the Wandering Amethyst Gold Whip.
She raised her hand and swung, fiercely lashing out at Shi Qingqian.
The Wandering Amethyst Gold Whip, imbued with an aura that could split the sky and cleave the earth, was swift as lightning, surging forth with purple light directly and rapidly towards Shi Qingqian’s eyes.
Just a hair’s breadth from her eyelashes, where the purple light even touched them, the Wandering Amethyst Gold Whip suddenly went limp, like a branch wilting a hundred times faster.
Under Shi Qingqian’s gaze, it whined and whimpered like a beaten puppy, wanting to retreat.
Shi Qingqian blinked, seemingly puzzled as to why A’Ling would lash her. Her eyes were still a bloody, misty red, with no sign of clarity.
She slowly reached out a hand, and the Wandering Amethyst Gold Whip in A’Ling’s hand, like a summoned foolish dog, slipped away from A’Ling and flew towards Shi Qingqian.
A’Ling screamed, “Come back, you traitor!”
A’Ling was uncontrollably furious, seeing Shi Qingqian holding her Wandering Amethyst Gold Whip.
“Shi Qingqian, do you have to snatch everything of mine? My parents, my friends, my mount, and now even my magic artifact! Did I dig up your ancestral grave or grind your bones to dust in a past life, that you must oppose me at every turn in this one?!”
A’Ling recalled everything she had lost over the past hundred years, trembling with rage. Her vision blurred with mist, making Shi Qingqian’s face seem distant.
Her entanglement with Shi Qingqian over the past hundred years had begun from birth. When Shi Qingqian was born, her parents were assassinated. A servant took her to flee for her life and, on the way, encountered A’Ling’s mother in labor.
For Shi Qingqian’s safety, that servant had swapped the children, and A’Ling became the unfortunate one who was hunted since childhood.
She barely managed to live until adulthood when the servant revealed the truth. A’Ling was shocked that the relatives who had raised her had been plotting against her from the very beginning. Even more unexpectedly, her biological parents, upon learning the truth, actually wanted to cover up the matter.
They publicly claimed that A’Ling was Shi Qingqian’s biological sister, lost as a child.
After returning to the Huo family, A’Ling’s miserable days officially began. Shi Qingqian, talented from a young age, excelled her in everything.
No matter how hard she tried, everyone only had eyes for Shi Qingqian. Shi Qingqian was indeed formidable, reaching the pinnacle of the cultivation world in a mere hundred years of cultivation, becoming the ‘Venerable Beiming’ whom everyone praised, admired, and only dared to look up to.
As for her, due to her constant jealousy of Shi Qingqian, she repeatedly framed Shi Qingqian, was expelled from the inner sect by the cultivation world, and even suffered qi deviation during cultivation. From then on, she could only be an unspeakable demon cultivator.
A’Ling gave a bitter laugh. Even her best friend had abandoned their friendship for Shi Qingqian’s sake.
She had nothing left. All of this was Shi Qingqian’s doing.
“Why could Shi Qingqian use her identity to escape the childhood pursuit, while she faced deadly threats at every turn, trained from a young age never to cry?”
“Why could Shi Qingqian use her identity to live in comfort and abundance without constant wandering, while she had to learn to work just to get a mouthful of food?”
“Why could Shi Qingqian use her identity to rightfully enjoy the rare treasures and natural wonders the Huo family found for her, becoming an enviable cultivation genius?”
“Why, why, when all of this should have been hers!”
“Why, when she wanted her parents to execute the servant who swapped the babies, did they say that servant was a loyal servant of the highest order? And why did her benefactor, who raised her, tell her to just let it go!”
“How could she just ‘let this go’? Sixteen years of wandering and displacement, and they lightly say ‘let it go,’ as if that makes it okay!”
“Why, when she demanded Shi Qingqian get out of her home, did her parents say Shi Qingqian would be her older sister from now on and they should get along well? Why?!”
“Why! Why! Why did Shi Qingqian take everything from her, yet she had to treat her as an older sister!”
Sadness welled up in A’Ling’s heart. Days and months had flown by; a hundred years had passed, yet she still felt sad whenever she remembered her childhood.
But alas, she couldn’t cry, unable to vent her sadness.
When that servant took her to flee for her life in her youth, worried her crying would attract deadly peril, the servant fed her a pill from a young age. No matter how sad A’Ling became, she couldn’t cry.
When she was bullied in school, the bullies would cry first, and because she couldn’t cry, she was accused of bullying by relying on power.
In the inner sect, when friends accused her of hurting Shi Qingqian, she couldn’t cry, and was called black-hearted.
Even when her parents died, she couldn’t cry, and the world said demons had no heart.
A’Ling clutched her chest. If I have no heart, then why does it still hurt to think of these things? It hurts so much I can barely breathe.
Suddenly, her face felt itchy as her Wandering Amethyst Gold Whip slowly stroked her face.
A’Ling looked up. Shi Qingqian had approached her without her knowing, tilting her head and looking at her with confusion.
Her eyes were still a deep crimson, devoid of clarity.
A’Ling instantly composed herself and sneered. What if she’s the Venerable Beiming? What if she’s one step away from ascending to immortality? Isn’t she still in my hands?
As long as I absorb Shi Qingqian’s cultivation today, I can break through my current state and become the undisputed Demon Lord of the Demon Realm.
And Shi Qingqian, tainted by the Demon Realm and stripped of her Great Ascension stage cultivation, I’d like to see how she establishes herself in the cultivation world.
As she thought, A’Ling raised her right hand. The Nine Heavens Immortal-Binding Lock, like a nimble little snake, instantly bound Shi Qingqian.
A’Ling flipped over, pressing Shi Qingqian onto the bed. “If you’re obedient, I’ll take less of your cultivation. But if you don’t cooperate, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”
She lightly raised her fair hand, and the bed curtains around the bed fell, swaying left and right with the strong winds rising from the ground, rustling loudly.
A’Ling raised her hand and chanted an incantation. Waves of fluorescent light appeared within the bed curtains, illuminating the dim bedchamber.
A’Ling lowered her head, her forehead rubbing against Shi Qingqian’s forehead. She lowered her voice and said, “Let me in.”
A’Ling closed her eyes, guiding her spiritual consciousness. It reached the outside of Shi Qingqian’s mind palace. She gently rubbed her forehead against Shi Qingqian’s, repeating, “Let me in.”
After wandering outside the mind palace for a while longer, A’Ling suddenly opened her eyes. This isn’t good, she thought.
‘Could it be that this aphrodisiac only stimulates the physical, while spiritual intercourse is primarily mental? If Shi Qingqian has no room for me in her heart, then I can’t get in at all, can I?’
Just one step away from success, A’Ling realized her efforts were all for naught. Annoyed, she tried to get up.
Suddenly, a hand pressed down on her neck, forcefully pulling her closer, their foreheads remaining pressed together.
Her spiritual consciousness entered Shi Qingqian’s mind-gate.
What’s going on? A hand? Weren’t Shi Qingqian’s hands bound by me?
Soon, she couldn’t think anymore. Shi Qingqian’s spiritual consciousness was too strong; A’Ling felt like a small boat entering a stormy sea.
Everything was beyond her control. She could only follow the waves, rushing to the clouds and then plummeting to the seabed, each sensation faster than the last.
A’Ling trembled all over, crying out continuously.
“Ah—no—help—” All her words shattered into fragments, unable to form a complete sentence.
Wave after wave of weightlessness seized her heart, spreading throughout her body. Her entire being felt as if it had been electrified, leaving A’Ling utterly bewildered by this sensation.
In a daze, she remembered her purpose. Trembling, she stretched out her hand and pressed it tightly against Shi Qingqian’s chest, activating the incantation.
The Great Ascension stage spiritual energy beneath her hand slowly flowed from Shi Qingqian’s palm into A’Ling’s body.
It was warm like a hot spring in winter, slowly and steadily, flowing along their touching skin and into A’Ling’s body.
A’Ling’s whole body tingled. She felt her body becoming lighter and lighter, realizing that Shi Qingqian’s spiritual energy was surprisingly clear and refreshing, bringing comfort like a marrow-cleansing elixir.
The bed curtains rustled. In the quiet, dark room, second by second, time seemed to stretch endlessly.
Just as A’Ling felt her entire body was so light it was about to float, her lips felt a warmth, and she suddenly opened her eyes.
At that same moment, the bloody mist in Shi Qingqian’s eyes receded, and her gaze met A’Ling’s dark pupils.
A’Ling’s mind went blank for a moment. She frantically wanted to escape; caught stealing cultivation, she was dead.
A’Ling was panting, her face burning, her anxious eyes darting around. She tried to pull her ensnared tongue from Shi Qingqian’s mouth, but her head was pressed back down.
Shi Qingqian held A’Ling’s lips and said in a muffled voice, “Don’t go.”
A sudden dizzying sensation swept over A’Ling as she was firmly pressed beneath Shi Qingqian, unable to move. She looked up, and the swirling depths in Shi Qingqian’s eyes were like a gathering storm, carrying the force of heaven and earth, presaging a torrential downpour.
The shaking white jade bed seemed as if it would collapse and shatter into dust the next second amidst the raging storm.
A continuous stream of cultivation surged towards her like a flood rushing into the sea. She faced the storm, wanting to refuse, but was unable to.
“Too much, too much! What is Shi Qingqian doing? Is she trying to give all her cultivation to me?”
“I can’t take it anymore!”
A’Ling felt her body go from light to bloated in an instant.
As her meridians burst and her soul scattered, she understood: Shi Qingqian had turned her own trick against her, intending for her to explode and die!
“I regret it!”
Alas, it was too late.
A blinding white light, accompanied by what sounded like muffled thunder rumbling in her ears, enveloped A’Ling. She instantly lost consciousness, slowly falling downward.
“Ah————”
“Thud!”
A sharp pain. A’Ling clutched her rear, grimacing from the agony as she opened her eyes. Looking down, she saw she wasn’t on the jade bed she had slept on for decades; instead, she was surrounded by dirty soil.
A’Ling looked up in surprise; she was in a deep pit. Her peripheral vision seemed to catch movement beside her.
She looked up, and a figure on the ground propped herself up to stand.
The figure blocked the light from the top of the pit. It took A’Ling a moment to see her clearly.
Those clear eyes, the red mole at the corner of her eye, and those always upward-curving eye corners were looking at her, full of disgust.
A’Ling’s pupils instantly dilated then sharply constricted. Looking at the person so close, the lingering pain of her body exploding and humiliating memories flooded her mind.
“Shi Qingqian, I’m going to kill you!”
Damn why she kinda valid as hell in hating her
I’m in A’ling’s side here wth she deserved her villainess origin, everyone was shitty
