Senior Sister Went Mad After My Fake Death Chapter 73

Having a Little Sister [Extra]

Tianli played with her friends until the moon hung high in the sky, only remembering to go home after she had had her fill of fun.
The joy of playing was always accompanied by the nerve-wracking regret that followed. This was the first time she had simply played until so late; nothing like this had ever happened before.
Better go back early.
Someone had been right just now. Her two mothers were probably busy with something, which was why they didn’t have time to come looking for her.
If they had time later, wouldn’t they come looking for her then?
Or rather, what were the two of them doing right now? Tianli was suddenly curious.
After all, neither of her mothers had ever told her how they fell in love.
And so, as Tianli strolled through the hazy moonlight with her friend Lan Xin, she suddenly turned her head and asked, “Do you know how your two mothers met and fell in love?”
Lan Xin’s family was similar to Tianli’s. They both had two mothers, both still living, and the two girls were of a similar age, so they often played together.
“Huh? How would I know?” A look of genuine surprise appeared on Lan Xin’s face. “Do you know?”
Tianli held her head in frustration. “I don’t know. That’s why I thought, since you’re older than me, Lan Xin, I’d ask you.”
Seeing that Tianli was truly troubled, Lan Xin’s expression turned serious, as if she was really about to give her some advice. “Alright, since you don’t know either, why don’t you go back and ask them today?”
Tianli’s eyes darted around. “How do I ask?”
Lan Xin thought for a moment, then leaned in and whispered a few sentences in Tianli’s ear.
After listening, Tianli was astonished. “Really? How do you know?”
Lan Xin smiled proudly. “Of course.”
Alright, she knew her two mothers were powerful, but she didn’t know they were that powerful?
Dubious, Tianli decided to go back and ask about it.
Walking home under the moonlight, Tianli’s heart was filled with apprehension, but all that ended the moment she opened the door.
There was no one in the study.
Tianli let out a long sigh of relief and comforted herself inwardly: It’s so late, and this is my study, not a place for sleeping.
Of course, if someone were to sleep here, it could only be her.
Both Jiang Chunai and Han Xiao had their own proper places to sleep.
…The two of them wouldn’t cram into the same room with her, their daughter, would they?
Or maybe, the family of three would all transform into their original shapes—red, white, and bluish-black—and all squeeze together.
Eek, what a scene! The mere thought of it made Tianli find it amusing.
As her mind wandered, she muttered the four colors she’d just been thinking of while tidying up her desk.
The desk was just as she had left it, neat and orderly. Perhaps something had changed, but Tianli couldn’t figure out what it was for the moment.
Alright, so she could only continue her wild thoughts about a family of three with four colors.
Sigh, how can a family of three have four colors?
Hmm, three snakes corresponding to four colors? That doesn’t seem right.
Where is it not right?
Tianli’s clever little mind quickly came up with a solution:
Aha! Since there are four colors, then we should be a family of four!
In that case, doesn’t that mean I’m missing a little sister?
Yes, I’m missing a little sister!
Her two mothers should have another little sister.
“Huh? What’s this?” Tianli suddenly saw a lingering water stain under the round table, and a piece of cloth.
Alright, maybe when I was studying, I was so engrossed that instead of pulling my own hair, I started tearing at my clothes?
As for the strange water stain, she didn’t think about it anymore.
She was just vaguely thinking that her two powerful mothers should have another little sister…
What would her little sister look like?
White? Red? Or green?
Those three colors would be fine.
Tianli didn’t particularly like black.
As usual, Han Xiao came out of the kitchen today. Without her cultivation, the other two naturally had to take care of her, which meant eating the meals she cooked.
The fragrant dishes were served.
They were cultivators, after all, so they didn’t need to eat heavy, meaty meals.
Han Xiao first served Jiang Chunai a bowl of soup, then gave Tianli a few meatballs.
Tianli, Tianli. Just from the name she had given herself, one could tell she loved sweets.
Even now, her cheeks were still bulging.
“What candy did you eat now?” Han Xiao gave her a light glance, but the motion of serving rice from her hand didn’t stop.
It was no surprise that her sweet-toothed daughter was fond of candy. Han Xiao’s inquiry was more of a routine question.
It was now noon, and the sunlight streamed in through the window.
The golden rays, like scattered spiritual feathers, gently covered Han Xiao and Tianli.
Han Xiao’s figure was tall and graceful, and bathed in the halo of light, her eyes were filled with love and warmth, like an elegant scholar who had stepped out of an ink painting, her sentiments deep and lasting.
Tianli replied, “Plum candy.”
Plum candy? Han Xiao naturally thought of the memory she and Jiang Chunai shared—honey-preserved plum blossoms.
So she subconsciously asked, “Are the plums tasty?”
Even though the two things couldn’t be compared.
Jiang Chunai was stunned for a moment, then suddenly understood Han Xiao’s meaning and smiled.
When Tianli heard that her other mother had no intention of scolding her, she immediately grinned and pulled out more candy from her pocket.
Her round little face was flushed pink by the warm light, like a lotus blooming in its prime.
She picked up a piece of candy and held it up to the light, offering it to Han Xiao.
Han Xiao only looked at her lovingly. The brilliant candy wrapper and the colorful halo of light intertwined, creating a dreamlike scene, making it hard to tell if it was the splendor of the mortal world or an illusion from an immortal dream.
And Jiang Chunai watched them from the other side, watching the gentle sunlight and the quiet warmth slowly dissipate into the air.
Han Xiao’s ink-black pupils were filled with tenderness.
Jiang Chunai watched her, mesmerized, watching her fair skin, watching the deep, unyielding warmth in her eyes.
They were one and the same.
One bloodline.
Suddenly, as if sensing her gaze, Han Xiao looked over. But when she did, the look in her eyes was no longer the warmth she had shown Tianli.
What was it more like?
A blatant, undisguised love.
It’s been so long. They’re such big people, or snakes, already.
This thought of Jiang Chunai’s seemed to be sensed by Han Xiao as well. Han Xiao retracted her gaze and continued to arrange the bowls and chopsticks, her tone light as she said, “How many years? It’s only been so many years. How many years have we been human?”
How many years had she had her own emotions, her own soul?
Jiang Chunai chuckled softly and leisurely picked up where Han Xiao left off, “Yes, it’s only been so many years. So what if I look?”
They were both such young, such passionate souls.
This was only the beginning of them truly understanding what they were to each other.
Love had to be shown openly, held in the mouth, and displayed in the eyes.
It was just that, in the past, the one who loved like this was Jiang Chunai.
Their daily meals were already warm and pleasant, but after that little incident, they became even more intimate.
But the warm scene soon changed.
“Alright, time to eat. Don’t keep eating candy,” Han Xiao chided.
Jiang Chunai seconded the motion.
Tianli puffed out her cheeks, her peach-blossom eyes wide and round, looking quite unhappy. She very, very slowly swallowed the candy in her mouth and said, “Okay.”
She was being obedient today. Han Xiao hadn’t even had time to be happy about it—she usually never said anything to Tianli, and would even “collude” with her.
“Mother, Mother,” Tianli called, then turned her gaze to Jiang Chunai and asked, “and you too, Mother, I have a wish.”
Han Xiao didn’t even bat an eye, still holding her spoon calmly. As for Jiang Chunai, she was even more direct: “After the meal.”
She, as a mother, knew better than anyone how much her daughter loved sweets.
Unexpectedly, their calm and serious facades didn’t last long.
Because Tianli’s eyes were filled with expectation. She looked at them with watery eyes, her tone as if she were completely innocent, and said, “Mother, Mother, will you have another little sister for me?”
Han Xiao, who was just about to bring the spoon to her mouth, felt her long fingers tremble. The delicious meatball soup went down the wrong pipe, and she choked.
Jiang Chunai was equally flustered, her face slightly red. “Huh? Why did you suddenly think to ask that?”
She quickly exchanged a glance with Han Xiao, and they both caught a trace of panic in each other’s eyes.
Could it be… they were discovered in the study?
But that didn’t seem right.
Han Xiao’s gaze deepened, becoming even calmer.
Her eyes said that she should have cleaned up properly.
However, now was not the time to talk about whether she had cleaned up or not.
Tianli looked left and right, feeling that her mothers were being a bit strange… Sigh, I don’t get it.
Anyway, she was now going to state her opinion with a straight face: “Because, we have four colors…”
Both Han Xiao and Jiang Chunai listened to Tianli with bated breath, afraid that they had overlooked something in the study that would let this younger life sense something was amiss.
In fact, even if there was something, it was forgivable—Tianli was a younger life, and they too were young lives, still burning with passion.
Tianli had long since thrown the strange things she had observed to the back of her mind.
“Oh, is it just because you think that since our family has four colors, we should have four people?” Jiang Chunai sighed in relief and went along with Tianli’s words.
Of course, she was the one who had to be the most vigilant. If she hadn’t been set on teasing her Senior Sister that day, the two of them wouldn’t have been in the study…
But if she had to do it all over again, Jiang Chunai probably wouldn’t have stopped herself.
Senior Sister was truly alluring, compelling her to prove that her fingers, every one, every inch, could go deep, could be of use.
She knew the pleasure of soft folds of flesh scraping against her fingertips, enveloping the tip of her tongue.
Tianli nodded vigorously. “Yes, yes, I just want a little sister. Oh, right, how did you two meet?”
Tianli hadn’t forgotten the legend her friend had told her; she wanted to know it too.
She thought her two mothers were just too amazing. As the saying goes, dragons beget dragons and phoenixes beget phoenixes, so her future little sister must be amazing too.
Jiang Chunai and Han Xiao exchanged a glance and came to an agreement. “We can tell you, but finish your meal first.”
Tianli pouted, struggling to pick up a meatball from her bowl. “Alright, alright, I know. I’m eating…”
As she took one difficult bite after another, she gradually lost interest in her mothers’ love story.
All she wanted was a little sister.
So, after the meal, she gathered all the bowls, claiming she had a new spell to practice and told them to hurry up and leave.
Han Xiao frowned. “Go do what?”
“Go have another little sister for me! I want to be a big sister,” Tianli said earnestly.
